Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using LeemerChat, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access and use LeemerChat for personal or commercial use. This license includes:

Access to AI models and features included in your subscription plan

Ability to create, save, and manage conversations

Upload and analyze files within usage limits

Use of collaboration, research, podcast, and email agent features as available

Access to AI-powered email responses via the email agent feature (subject to rate limits)

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use LeemerChat responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree NOT to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws

Generate content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service

Share your account credentials or circumvent account sharing protections

Use automated systems or bots to access the service without permission

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code

Resell, redistribute, or provide access to the service to third parties

Send spam, unsolicited bulk emails, or use the email agent for harassment or illegal activities

Exceed email agent rate limits or attempt to circumvent them

Send emails containing malicious attachments, viruses, or other harmful content

Warning: Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

User Accounts & Responsibilities

When you create an account with us, you agree to:

Account Security

Maintain the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Accurate Information

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated. For email agent features, ensure your registered email address matches the address you use to send emails.

Account Sharing Limits

Respect our account sharing protection policies: maximum 3 devices, 2 concurrent sessions, and 1 active generation at a time.

Email Agent Usage

When using the email agent feature, you agree to:

Send emails only from your registered email address
Respect rate limits (10 emails/hour for paid plans, 5 emails/hour for free tier)
Not send spam, malicious content, or violate any laws
Understand that email content and attachments are stored for service provision

Notification of Unauthorized Use

Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

The service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by LeemerChat and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our branding, logo, and service marks are proprietary.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you input into LeemerChat. By using the service, you grant us a license to:

Process your inputs through AI models to generate responses
Store your conversations for providing service to you
Process and store email content, attachments, and metadata for email agent functionality
Use anonymized, aggregated data for improving our service

Email Content: When you use the email agent feature, email content, attachments, and thread metadata are stored to enable conversation continuity and service provision. Attachments may be processed, extracted, and stored on third-party storage services (e.g., UploadThing) as necessary for the service.

AI-Generated Content

AI-generated responses are provided as-is. While you may use AI outputs, we make no claims regarding ownership or originality of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.

Billing, Subscriptions & Refunds

Subscription Plans

LeemerChat offers various subscription plans (Free, Leemer Go, Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly). Each plan includes specific usage limits and features. Pricing is subject to change with notice.

Payment

All payments are processed through Autumn.js and Stripe. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment information. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.

Refund Policy

Refunds are generally not provided except where required by law or at our sole discretion. Contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

Service Provided "As Is"

LeemerChat is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the service's reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

AI Accuracy

AI models may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate content. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content. Always verify important information.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeemerChat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.) and email services (Resend). We are not responsible for their services, downtime, or changes to their terms.

Email Services: Email delivery and inbound processing are handled by Resend. Email content, attachments, and metadata are processed and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Resend's service availability or delivery failures.

Service Modifications & Termination

We reserve the right to:

Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time

Change pricing, features, or usage limits with reasonable notice

Terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms

Implement scheduled maintenance or emergency updates

Your Right: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration or court proceedings as permitted by law.

Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, any proceedings to resolve disputes will be conducted on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
